DR. CHRIS DAVIS - ADDICTION SPECIALIST
Dr Chris is a Sydney-based GP and Director of East Sydney Doctors. Originally from the UK, he was a Clinical Lead in Substance Misuse and Alcohol and a partner in a large inner city London practice for many years before emigrating to Sydney in 2014. Chris continued his studies and among other things gained a Diploma in Substance Misuse. While still in the UK, he designed the highly successful Clean Slate Clinic. This is a GP-led alcohol management and home detox clinic that he has introduced here in Australia. He’ll talk more on this and likely his miniature schnauzer Archie for hours! |

ANNIA BARON - CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST, MINDSET COACH, YOGA TEACHER
Annia is a Clinical Psychologist and has lectured with the University of Tasmania in Psychology. You can find her articles published monthly in The Hobart Magazine. Annia has completed a Master in Psychology (Clinical), Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology, Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), and Bachelor of Business Studies. PIET BLOKKER - WIM HOF TRAINED
At the age of 21 Piet Immigrated to Australia. He loved Australian Nature, but especially Tasmania's pristine, and preserved wilderness. Due to stress and not looking after his body at the age of 50 he ended up with Lymphoma and Rheumatoid Arthritis. He realised that his old life was finished and that this was the beginning of a new life. During this time he was made aware of the Dutchman Wim Hof. It made him proud to be Dutch when he watched Wim’s documentaries and without further thinking, he ordered the 10-week course. This proved to be a life-saving decision! Wildly enthusiastic about creative cooking, Sophia has always had a penchant for vegetarian and vegan recipes and experimenting with flavors from around the globe. Cooking for friends and family is a passion. She has lived all over the world, engaging in food creations from European, Middle East, Asia and Australia. Food is her love language. SOPHIE HANLEY - NUTRITIONIST
Sophie is a registered nutritionist from Tasmania with a bachelor degree in nutritional medicine. She now has her own clinical practice based in Hobart where she specialises in digestive health. Sophie takes a holistic approach to health, and enjoys educating others on creating balance with food, and how to use it to improve their health and specific goals. She believes we all need to eat more from the earth and less from a box; and that people should focus on making their diet more nutritious over one that's restrictive. She loves to try her hand at growing her own produce, and getting creative in the kitchen. |
