Join Alice Hansen for a 2-hour deep immersion into the Wild Wellness Method for Global Wellness Day, wrapped in the comfort of the Tailored Pod with views out to the wild Southern Ocean.


This will be a life-shifting experience where an intimate group will gather for a gentle guided breathwork and meditation practice followed by an icy plunge (optional but invigorating!) in the outdoor ancient Huon Pine bath. Then warm up round the firepit for an author-led journaling session.


This experience starts at 6pm.

THE WILD WELLNESS METHOD


The Wild Wellness Method is an Australian first - a merging of wellness professionals, decades of experience and global thought leaders - delivered through retreats, partnered walks and online courses. It's the latest antidote to modern day stress; a wholesome script to wellness - as seen on Channel 10's Well Traveller episode here.


Our Wild Wellness Day Retreat begins with powerful breathwork, and this prepares us for the insightfully designed program that spans our three core pillars of Wild Wellness.


During our time together we combine cold water plunging (though not compulsory, it's a sensory wonder for those who take the dive!), breathing techniques and cold water therapy. With powerful energy flowing we'll hit our Wild Wellness journals, following a specifically designed blueprint with Wild Wellness founder, Alice Hansen.


We believe there is no better place than Tasmania for wellness. It's one of the last wild frontiers, at the edge of the world. Here, we breathe some of the world's cleanest air. It's wild. It's also the home of national award-winning Wild Wellness.


This is no ordinary seaside experience.


We round out our time together with a sharing circle, looking out across the water to the dunes - strangers now connected through our Wild Wellness Day Retreat.


COLD THERAPY

Ready to invigorate your life? Discover the power of cold-water therapy during our optional morning plunge. We’ll go deep, exploring the benefits of cold water immersion. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never dipped a toe into cool waters or you’re an enthusiast from way back. You’ll learn strategies and tools that will last long beyond our time together. Expect to be challenged, reset and exhilarated.

 

BREATHING

Take a deep breath. Isn’t it about time? Learn ancient breathing techniques that work wonders and can be tapped into for a lifetime to come. This breathwork is about boosting energy, dropping stress, recalibrating the nervous system, detoxing your system and so much more.


WILD WELLNESS JOURNALING

Alice introduces you to Wild Wellness and its three pillars; connection, care and commitment. There is time for contemplation, gentle prompts and optional sharing of lived experience during our journaling session.

 

CANCELLATIONS

All bookings incur a 20% cancellation fee which is non-refundable. If you cancel within seven days of the event, the full retreat cost is incurred. Special/emergency cases can absolutely be discussed

THE TAILORED POD

Described by Grand Designs Australia host as a love letter to Tasmania, just 35-minutes from Hobart's CBD the pod feels a world away.


The architectural home is 40sq metres, snug by design for a tech-free escape. Every touch is considered and local. Sink deep into your Huon pine tub filled with ice or choose to request an extended experience with a soothing hot bath infused with Tasmanian botanicals. The bath is made with timber sourced from the depths of Lake Pieman. Settle into the hand-crafted couch, made exclusively for the pod. Here, through floor to ceiling windows, nature is your entertainment. Views out to the dunes, Frederick Henry Bay and the Southern Ocean beyond are rivalled only by Mount Wellington / kunanyi out to the west. Surf beaches and cafes are just around the corner for those who are keen to make a full day of the experience.


*Private sessions by arrangement can include restorative yoga, reflexology, Thai massage, music therapy, sound baths, mobile sauna, Huon Pine ice baths, peri-menopause sessions, and more, tailored to your group's needs.
